A: As a kukuspeak Instructor, you will be guiding students through a series of exercises helping them practice their spoken English. You would use your native language skills to help students improve their Oral English. A single training session for a student is called a class. and a complete lesson consists of completing the class and the feedback associated with that class.
Q: Would I be doing telemarketing?
A: kukuspeak is not a telemarketing company. All the students you will be serving are language learners who want to improve their language skills and are enthusiastic about the opportunity to be taught by kukuspeak's instructors.
Q: Who will I be talking to?
A: Most of the students you will be talking to will be adults, we also get many children students who need to improve their oral English skills.
Q: Does this require any prior teaching experience?
A: Prior teaching experience is a must.
Q: Do I have to speak the student's native language?
A: No. Communication between the Instructor and student will be exclusively in English. However, you need to slow down your speaking speed to make sure they can follow you when it is necessary.
Q: What will I be talking about?
A: we offer instructors material. You can also talk about the topics we provide or use the topics that students defined.
Q:How do I give the students feedback?
A: Our platform allows you to give the student suggestions and comments after finishing the lesson. You will give the student corrections to their grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, fluency and other helpful feedback.
Q: How many hours can I work?
A: As an Independent Contractor, you can work as many or as few hours as your schedule allows as long as the platform is open. Instructors who are more active on the platform will be considered for advancement more quickly than Instructors who only work occasionally.(It is better that you can provide at least 20 hours per month for kukuspeak )
Q: Are there minimum hours that an Instructor has to be available?
A:Scheduling time is mostly up to each instructor. But instructors should provide at least 20 hours per month for Kukuspeak. If an instructor plans to be absent for a week or more, he or she should notify us two weeks in advance.
Q: How long is a formal class?
A: A formal class lasts 45 minutes.
Q:How long is the trial class?
A: The trial class lasts 45 minutes.
Q:Do i have to give free trial classes?
A:Yes. As you was on your probation, we don't pay for trial classes.
Q: How many trial classes should I offer?
A: Before you become an instructor of Kukuspeak, you have to offer at least 2 free trial classes. Trial classes are a good way to show yourself and your teaching styles.
Q: Do all Instructors work the same number of lessons while available?
A: The number of lessons that an Instructor takes will vary based on a variety of factors. Instructors who "commit" to being available during peak hours of customer demand will have a much better opportunity to receive additional calls.
Q: When is the heaviest class volume?
A: Class volumes vary based on the needs of our students however evenings(Beijing time) tend to be the busiest.
Q:When can I start to work?
A: When you received the job offer and passed the two-class unpaid internship, then you can be a member of Academic team in Kukuspeak and start your teaching experience.

There are three different steps to the recruitment process:

3. START WORK
After successfully passing the probation, you will be ready to start to work. You only need to log into the Instructor portal and submit your schedule regularly. We can arrange classes according to your schedule.

PAY & BENEFITS
Q: How much do Instructors get paid?
A:.You will be paid for your classes with students at the pay rate offered when you choose a work assignment; All of your classes will be recorded in your user center. Our pay rates are competitive compared to other work at home opportunities.
Q: Do you pay by the hour, or by the class?
A: We pay by the class, and each class lasts approximately 45 minutes.
Q: How can I generate additional revenue?
A: Instructors can earn additional revenue by giving more classes or by participating in other earning opportunities with kukuspeak. Your earnings can also increase the longer your work with kukuspeak and the higher ranked you are as an Instructor.
Q: Are there opportunities for advancement with kukuspeak?
A: Yes. Instructor Supervisors are hired from our pool of active Instructors and will receive greater responsibilities and a higher pay rate.
Q:How are Instructors paid? How often?
A: kukuspeak pays Instructor fees by paypal. Fees are calculated every month.
Q: How long before my business generates revenue?
A: Once kukuspeak receives all necessary documents and all equipment is in working order, you may begin our certification process. Motivated Instructors can complete certifications and begin accepting students (thus generating revenue) within a week.
Q: Does kukuspeak reimburse Instructor expenses?
A:No. kukuspeak contracts with Independent Contractors to provide services. It is the Contractors responsibility to provide all necessary equipment and materials to maintain their home business
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
Q: Will I need to download software?
A: Yes, you need to download skype and PDF-viewing software( such as Adobe Reader, Foxit, PDF-XChange Viewer).Also you need to download Skype recorder.
Q: What if I don't have access to high-speed internet as requested?
A: If you do not have access to high speed internet, you will have to make upgrades to satisfy our minimum technology requirements.
Q: Does kukuspeak provide Instructors with the equipment to perform services?
A:As an Independent Contractor, you are responsible for providing and maintaining all equipment and outside services necessary to provide contracted services to kukuspeak.
Q: Are Head sets (microphone and headphones) required?
A: Yes, they are necessary to become a contractor at kukuspeak; you need to keep your hands free for typing. The headsets must be designed to plug into your personal computer and must have a both microphone and headphones.
Q: Are calls going to be recorded?
A: Yes, we will record all our clients' classes for both educational and quality purposes. This is also to ensure Instructors are providing the service as outlined in the contract.
